Summer Scholarships

The Astrophysics group is pleased to offer a number of summer scholarships over the 2006/2007 summer break. The scholarships are intended for students who have completed at least 3 years of full time University study, in exceptional cases students who have completed two years study will be considered. Scholarships will be awarded at a rate of approximately $400 AUD per week for a period of 8 weeks in addition to a return airfare by the cheapest possible method between the nearest Australian or New Zealand capital city and Hobart. Applications close on September 8th 2006 . International students are welcomed to apply, however due to Australian tax law the stipends will be administered differently, please contact the program coordinator for details.
