Welcome!

This Web site www.mife.com is being set up to promote the MIFE system and to provide information about its use in plant science. Information and resources are progressively being established here, with their links. Until all information is available, please visit the Biophysics lab at the University of Tasmania Web site or e-mail Ian Newman.

The MIFE system is being redeveloped during 2007, to improve the functionality of both the software (user interface) and hardware, and to run on a Windows XP (and possibly Linux) platform. Specifications of the new MIFE-2 will be available at the end of 2007, as the redevelopment nears completion.

An associated site www.mife.net is being set up to facilitate information interchange between MIFE users around the world.
